Mr Bean, almost everybodys favourite show whether adult or child boy or girl, who would of ever thought to see Rowan Atkinson driving anything else other than the icon pale green 1970's Mini Cooper let a lone a one of a kind V12 Rolls Royce. Featured in one of his most recent movies Jonny English, this Rolls Royce is one of kind. Not only did it have all the cool gizmos youd expect in a downunder investigator film but this Rolls Royce had something that was one of a kind unique, this turns us to to the engine. The 9.0L V16 was a one of a kind experimental engine being the fastest and most powerful Rolls Royce engine produced. It was infact Rowan Atkinsons special request to Rolls Royce to have this experimental engine featured in the film Jonny English. "Goes Like the wind, Only quieter" is how the engineer in the film describes the Royce.
Atkinsons plan as for his film was to add british character within. I mean what better way to instill British history and craftsmanship into a British produced film than to make use of Britans flagsip make the Rolls. With complete voice command only answering to Mr English himself, the Rolls is a perfect match for a British spy who isnt as good as he thinks he is. Atkinson has described the Rolls as being "Very well with the feeling of trust and authority but also with a little tweak of the engine and gadgets it invests it with a sense of fantasy."
The Rolls Royce Phantom is now stored in Rolls' headquarters used as a show car that has been featured once on the well know show Top Gear.
